• Remote works intermittently but the wall button is steady. The radio receiver circuit lives on the logic board, and when its solder joints crack from thermal cycling, you get signal dropout before total failure. We test this with a frequency meter right at the antenna trace.
• Opener lights flash and the door won’t move, even though the sensors look aligned. The safety sensor loop runs through the board’s logic gate. A failing board often misreads the sensor voltage as an obstruction when nothing is blocking the beam.

DIY or Call Us?

We do not recommend owner replacement of logic boards. The capacitors inside the motor housing hold residual charge even when unplugged.
